Up to 50,000 people are expected to line the streets to watch the annual Parade
The City centre will be awash with green this weekend for the annual St Patrick's Day parade which its hoped will draw a record crowd.
Up to 50,000 people are expected to line the streets to watch over 2,000 participants, including several marching bands from the United States, make their way from the bottom of the South Mall, along Grand Parade and Patrick's Street to Merchants Quay.
Five time Olympian and World Champion race walker Rob Heffernan is the Grand Marshal of this years parade which gets underway from 1pm.
