Cork wins at Sustainable Energy Awards

The County Council was one of three Cork winners at the 2016 Sustainable Energy awards last night.
The Council won the award in the Public Sector category for being the first Local Authority in Ireland to develop and implement a fully certified Energy Management System.
Johnson & Johnson Campus Ireland claimed this years overall Leadership Award, and Ovens based company Dell EMC accepted the Large Industry Award for it's commitment to reducing energy usage.
Speaking to RedFM News County Mayor Cllr Seamus McGrath says it's a great recognition for the hard work the Council has put in over the past few years:
