Cork woman nominated for a Frontline Hero award for her charity work during the pandemic

Mary O'Keefe, who is an assistant store manager at Dealz in Midleton was also recognised for helping vulnerable customers.
Mary came up with a new idea where elderly and self-isolating customers could phone the store and arrange for their items to be picked up and paid for.
She also drove locals to Castlemartyr for a number of weeks so they could use the Post Office when the branch in Midleton burnt down.
A number of Cork charities also benefited when Mary and her team collected €10,000 worth of customer donations.
The Retail Week Awards will take place on June 3rd.
