Cork's Rural Economy Under Severe Threat Due To Stalemate Around Beef Prices
That's according to Vice Chair of the Beef Plan Movement Gerard Dineen who says farmers are under increased financial pressure.
Farmers are maintaining a presence at the ABP plant in Bandon this morning following a High Court order banning them from blockading the facility.
The Agriculture Minister Michael Creed told RedFM News that while he would not join farmers on the picket line, his door remains open for talks.
Speaking to RedFM News this morning, Gerard Dineen from the Beef Plan Movement says farmers have been given no choice but to join the unoffical protest:
