Cork's "Sky Garden" to open next month

The controversial Mardyke Gardens scheme finally looks looks set to come to fruition. Plans to incorporate the Sky Garden into the city met a series of stumbling blocks over the past three years when relations broke down between it's designer Diarmuid Gavin and the City Council. However elements of the award-winning design which had been in storage are now set to be unveiled in May as part of a 2.3 million euro regeneration of Fitzgerald Park.
