Cork's Taxi Drivers Are Being Forced To Avoid Certain Areas Of The City Due To Anti-Social Behaviour
That's according to Bobby Lynch from the Cork Taxi Council
He says that young people are regularly throwing stones and rubbish at passing taxi drivers.
An increase in violent behaviour towards taxi drivers in recent years has forced many drivers to avoid night time and weekend shifts, with many opting to leave the industry altogether.
Speaking to RedFM News, Bobby Lynch says a lack of Garda presence in certain areas of the city plays a huge role in the problem:
