Council approve rezoning of land in Hollyhill
It's hoped this could lead to the expansion of tech giant Apple.
It's hoped that Apple might expand its company and create more jobs Leeside.
It comes as councillors voted in favour of rezoning the former St Anthony's site in Hollyhill from residential to business and technology use.
The company employs almost 4,000 people directly in Cork and the site is situated near Apple's European headquarters.
