Counting gets underway in the three county constituencies of Cork South West, Cork East and Cork North West at Clonakilty Community Hall and Mallow GAA Complex respectively
Voter turnout in the county is reflecting the national average which averaged between 60% and 65% with the bad weather failing to deter voters from having their say as Ireland Ireland voted to elect the 33rd Dáil.
Meanwhile,
Ballot boxes for the two city constituencies are due to be opened at Nemo Rangers GAA complex in Douglas.
