County Council speak out about housing shortage
It follows the number of empty properties owned by NAMA.
County Councillors have highlighted the fact that while 7,000 people are on the housing waiting list in the county - 600 NAMA owned homes and 163 apartments are lying empty.
The County Council has been in discussion with Nama since 2012 and not one vacant house has so far been made available to the council.
