CUH continue to face difficulties in recruiting nurses

The INMO say they cannot retain staff in Irish hospitals because of attractive remuneration packages offered abroad
Cork University Hospital is experiencing difficulty in recruiting nurses to fill vacant posts.
That's according to the INMO who are meeting with the Government next month to discuss an increase to pay for nursing staff, in an effort to compete with pay scales in Australia, Canada, the US and the UK.
Speaking to RedFM News the INMO's Mary Rose Carroll says nurses are under severe pressure to deliver the high level of care required because of staff shortages.
