CUH experiencing severe overcrowding for second day in a row

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country for the second day in a row.

55 patients are currently receiving treatment on trolleys in the Emergency Department, according to the latest trolley watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

7 patients are awaiting admission in the Mercy University Hospital and todays figures show  399 patients are currently on trolleys across the country.
