Current Beef Prices Costing Bandon Economy Over 14 million Euro Per Year

That's according to Vice Chair of the Beef Plan Movement Gerard Dineen, who says every cow that enters the ABP Plant in Bandon is a net loss for farmers and Ireland's beef industry
Protests at meat factories across the country have entered their second week as the dispute over beef prices continues.
Here in Cork, protests have been lifted outside the ABP Plant in Bandon to allow a Chinese Trade Delegation to enter the plant.
Between 5am and 9am this morning, 230 cattle were let into the plant to allow Chinese vetinary inspectors to ASSESS the running of the plant.
Speaking to RedFM News, Gerard Dineen says the impact that beef prices have on farmers, and the wider economy is frightening:
