Current situation in the city and county

Gardaí are asking people once again to stay off the roads today
In the city gardaí say there were no overnight incidents and people are heeding the advise and staying off the roads in the city.
In the county gardai say the roads are empty at this stage as they remain impassable in most areas.
Mallow Gardai responded to a crash on the Mallow-Killarney road around midnight, but no one was injured in that collision.
The guards in Midleton, Cobh, Bandon, Mallow and Fermoy all report that these areas have power and water so far this morning.
Gardai are reiterating the warning not to take to the roads again today.
