Today is the deadline for tenants at the Eden residental development in Blackrock after receivers moved in to sell the apartments..
35 tenants received tenancy terminations from the receivers, which expire today, and now face an uncertain future..
The receivers control 127 apartments, 20 of the units have already been vacated ahead of the deadline, however the remaining 90 tenants are concerned they could be next.
A spokesperson for Grant Thornton, the receivers, said it has yet to decide what to do with the rest of apartments under its control.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Mick Barry of the Anti Austerity Alliance is urging tenants to stand their ground and resist moves to remove them from their homes.
