Death toll could reach 10,000 in Nepal
The earthquake of a 7.8 magnitude hit on Saturday.
Authorities and relief crews fear the death toll from Nepal's earthquake could rise above 10 thousand.
So far, more than 4 thousand bodies have been recovered.
Aid workers say they urgently need to get supplies through to remote villages - some of which have been completely cut off since Saturday's earthquake.
A small number of Irish citizens are among those who haven't yet been accounted for.
Declan Murphy from Clonakility, who is the head of a Kathmandu educational charity, just happened to be on a visit home to West Cork for family reasons,
when the quake hit.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Declan says he has been speaking to colleagues on the ground and the situation there is chaotic.
