It comes after the mother-of-two posted a video on Facebook, which has now gone viral, in which she claims that her husband attacked her on three occasions.
Gardaí in Santry are investigating the alleged assault after the 26-year-old made a complaint about the incident last Friday but he has not been interviewed or arrested at this stage.
The Sun reports today that her husband, who is originally from Nigeria but moved to Cork when he was eight, has admitted to pushing her but denies that he ever punched her.
