Debenhams workers say a second redundancy offer has been made by KPMG

Former Debenhams workers in the city say KPMG has made them a second redundancy offer.
It's believed the amount being offered to end the long running dispute is between €500,000 and €750,000.
Staff rejected an offer of €1 million in September as 'insulting' and say they will continue their blockade until they receive four weeks' pay for every year of service.
330 staff from two Cork stores began blockading their former workplaces 207 days ago when Debenhams announced the closure of 11 stores in the Republic.
Speaking to RedFM News, Valerie Conlon from Debenhams on Patrick Street says talks broke down over the latest offer.
"There was a WRC meeting last Friday which was nearly five hours long, and out of that it came they [Debenhams] were starting to run out of money. The talks broke down.
"They're saying that because of all the expenditure between rents, and apparently they have a warehouse in Youghal and that's obviously empty and they're paying a lease on that.
"So apparently the money is running out and could run out by the end of December."
