Dell CEO Michael Dell To Visit Cork

RedFM News has learned that Michael Dell CEO of global tech giant Dell is due in Cork later today.
He's due to visit EMC where efforts continue to finalise the much talked about Dell-EMC merger.
It's the CEO's first visit since the merger was announced and accompanied by Dell executives he will meet with Bob Savage, senior EMC team and employees and tour the EMC Cork Centre of Excellence.
Dell is currently in the process of trying to complete its $67 billion acquisition of EMC which employs almost 2,000 people in Cork.
Dell have released a statement to RedFM News this morning and say "Operating as Dell Technologies, EMC and Dell businesses complement each other and we look forward to what the future will bring. The new company will be exceptionally well-positioned for growth in the most strategic areas of next generation IT."
