Demonstration in Cork in solidarity with the Greek people
It's part of a number of rallies being held throughout Europe.
A demonstration is due to get underway in the next hour in Daunt Square in solidarity with the Greek people.
It's part of a number of rallies being held around Europe by anti-austerity protesters, and some members of the Greek community.
It comes ahead of a vote tonight by the Greek parliament on legislation crucial to the resumption of talks with the Eurozone on a third bailout.
Seven individual pieces of legislation must be passed - including plans for tax hikes and pension reforms - while there'll also be a vote on the package as a whole.
Anti-water charges campaigner Noreen Murphy is due to speak at the event and she told RedFM News that people Leeside and in Ireland can relate to what the Greek people are facing.
