Divers conducting an underwater search for a man missing in Baltimore expect their search to be scaled back today due to changing weather conditions
Crews have been diving for the past three days for missing Cork man Barry Davis Ryan who tried to save his girlfriend Niamh O'Connor when a rogue wave swept her into the sea.
His father Barry Ryan also failed in his heroic attempt to save the Glamire student - his body and Niamh's body have both been recovered but 21-year-old Barry Davis Ryan still remains missing.
A South Easterly wind is the biggest challenge facing the underwater search teams today but land searches are expected to resume regardless.
Speaking to RedFM News Gerard O'Flynn of the Irish Coast Guard says underwater searches are very much weather dependent today:
