Developing In Cork City Centre Is Branded Pointless If Empty Units Can't Be Filled

Developing more retail space in the city centre is pointless if empty units can't be filled.

That's the view of a city centre retailer, who made the comments after City Hall planners gave the green light for the former Victoria Hotel to be developed into a retail unit.

 

Cork businessman John Grace has pledged to object to the development on the corner of Patrick street and Cook street  and has hit out at the lack of an overall plan for the street
