Discovery Of Sensitive Patient Data On Street In Cork City Described As A 'Major Breach Of Trust' 

Cork University Hospital and the HSE have launched an investigation after patient information was found on South Terrace last Friday. 

The documents which included names, addresses and treatment details as well as the details of patients who attended the children's ward were returned to the HSE and the Data Protection Commissioner was informed of the incident.
