Dolphin Rescue In Wandesford Quay

Rescue crews brought the distressed dolphin to safety after receiving a call from a worried onlooker

Emergency crew carried out a rescue of a trapped Dolphin in Wandesford Quay in the city overnight.

Cork's Fire control responded to the call by a member of the public at around 10.50pm last night.

The Dolphin, who had gotten into difficulty at Wandesford Quay, became trapped under a low-hanging branch.
 
Anglesea Street's Fire Control and Brava assisted in the rescuing of the, now safe, dolphin.
