He's due to arrive into Shannon Airport as his state visit to the UK draws to a close
As his state visit to the UK draws to a close, Donald Trump will make his first visit to Ireland as US President today.
He'll arrive at Shannon Airport later where he'll meet Taoiseach Leo Varadkar for a bilateral meeting.
Trump will spend the night at his hotel in Doonbeg in Clare, make a day trip to France tomorrow, before returning to Doonbeg.
Caroline Kennedy - owner of the Igoe Inn Bar and Restaurant in the village - says he'll be welcomed with open arms:
