Douglas traders say pay parking is hitting their businesses
Traders in Douglas are worried about their sustainability of their businesses after their proposals to overhaul the current pay parking regime were dismissed. The county manmager deemed the proposed changes in the village as unsustainable and says they run counter to the promotion of walking and cycling. However businesses are hoping that amending the pay-parking by laws would protect business and jobs.
