Douglas Village Shopping Centre Traders Say They Have Advised Some Staff To Look For Another Job

Around 400 employees and 30 businesses have been impacted by the fire, which started on level one of the multi-storey car park almost a week ago.
Business owners aired their concerns at a meeting with City Council's chief executive and representatives from the Local Enterprise Office and the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection yesterday.
Traders called for help with business rates and free on-street parking as well as clarity regarding a timeline for reopening the centre and insurance cover.
