Drivers Caught Speeding By More Than 30Km/H Could Soon Face A 2,000 Euro Fine
It's part of the Transport Minister's plans for tougher penalties
The latest proposals would start at a 60 euro fine and 2 penalty points for people going 10 kilometres an hour over the limit.
The Irish Times reports that Shane Ross will ask the cabinet to approve the plans tomorrow.
