Dublin at a standstill as thousands of women protest about Ireland's abortion laws

Hundreds of women are protesting on Dublin's O'Connell Bridge this lunchtime to raise awareness about Ireland's abortion laws.

The Strike 4 Repeal movement has urged women to wear black to work today and organise lunchtime walkouts to mark International Women's Day.

The demonstration is understood to be causing some difficulties for traffic - but O'Connell street remains open.

While people from all over the world have been sending postcards to Taoiseach Enda Kenny using the #Post4Repeal
