Dunnes Stores workers gear up for strike action tomorrow
600 Dunnes Stores workers in Cork who are members of Mandate are to take to the picket line tomorrow. The workers across Dunnes Stores 12 outlets in the city and county are taking the action in a row over pay and conditions. They're also seeking union recognition and the implementation of banded hour contracts which would give them security of hours and earnings as at the moment the majority of workers are only guaranteed 15 hours a week.
