King Villem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are spending the afternoon in Cobh as part of their 3-day visit to Ireland
The Dutch Royal Couple arrived in Cork this morning, paying a courtesy visit to Lord Mayor John Sheehan at City Hall.
The King was presented with a framed copy of a poem entitled 'In Cork, Waiting for the Dutch' by local poet Thomas McCarthy.
The poem was commissioned especially for the Royal's visit.
Meanwhile...
Throughout their stay they'll be treated to ice cream specially created for the Royal Couple by a Youghal based ice-cream parlour.
Fantastic Flavours Ice Cream Parlour has confirmed to RedFM News that the royals will be served their Double Dutch Chocolate, Mint Chocolate Chunk and Thrilla from Vanilla handmade, artisan ice creams.
