€23,000 refund after statue of silver screen legend Maureen O'Hara was criticised for not looking like her

The Irish Examiner reports the statue of the actress, who was born Maureen Fitzsimons in Dublin in 1920, was due to stand in her adopted home town of Glengarriff.
A second sculptor was hired to cast a statue, however Cork County Council is now said to be looking for a third sculptor for the project after creative differences arose with the second one.
Maureen O'Hara starred in films by Alfred Hitchcock and John Ford and also featured in The Quiet Man alongside John Wayne.
She was awarded an honorary Oscar in 2014, just one year before she died at the age of 95.
