Early years teachers in Cork to take part in national protest over pay and conditions

Professionals in a number of early years services in Cork are mounting protests Leeside today to highlight the low level of pay and conditions in the sector.
It coincides with a national protest being staged by the Association of Childhood Professionals outside the Dáil this afternoon.
Five buses are travelling from Cork to take part in the demonstration, and those who are not travelling are mounting their own protests Leeside, many of which will affect services.
According to the ACP many of their members are on minimum wage, and are struggling to make ends meet.
They say they're being asked for higher qualifications to enter the profession, but are not being paid adequately.
Speaking to RedFM News chairperson of the ACP Marion Quinn says change is needed and some services in Cork will be affected:
