East Cork Mother Whose Son Has Autism Speaks Out About Waiting Lists
Andrea Smith is part of the East Cork based group 'Parents together in Autism' who fundraise to access therapies for their children.
They're the latest to call on the government to do more to tackle waiting lists Leeside, with many parents worried their children could miss out on early intervention because of delays in accessing services and getting a diagnosis.
Speaking to RedFM News Andrea says they've had to take matters into their own hands:
Fundraisers were held in the town this weekend by the group as part of a local festival, the Regal Cinema was among those to get involved and General Manager of the cinema Scott Wilson told RedFM News why they got involved:
