Efforts being made to improve fire unit response time
It's been revealed that fire units Leeside are slower than the national average.
Efforts are being made to improve the response time of fire units across Cork county after it emerged that a quarter of Cork fire units are slower to mobilise that the national average time.
That fact emerged from a five-year report on the county fire service which aims to improve the service and increase response times.
