Efforts continue to retrieve body of crewman from wreckage of Rescue 116
Divers from the Naval Service and the Garda Underwater Unit will focus their efforts on the cockpit of the aircraft
Efforts are underway to retrieve the body of a crewman found in the wreckage of Rescue 116 off the Mayo coast.
Three crewmen have yet to be recovered from the Coast Guard helicopter, which crashed just under a fortnight ago near Blackrock Island.
The black box flight recorder recovered from the site is being transferred to the UK for specialist examination today.
Chief Inspector with the Air Accident Investigation Unit Jurgen Whyte says recovering data from the unit will take some time.
