Elderly Corkman Dies in New York Medical Center
                            A 77 year old man, who was originally from Cork, has died after a dementia patient attacked him for accidentally entering his room at a New York psychiatric ward.
Patrick Sheehan died five days after 65 year old Larry Hammond punched him inside the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center
Paddy Sheehan was born in Cork City and later emigrated to Boston Massachusetts before settling in Brooklyn with his wife Anne.
Police are investigating the fatal assault which happened on October 22nd and have charged Larry Hammond with assault, menacing and harassment...
Both men are psychiatric patients at Kingsbrook.
