EU Leaders Set To Warn British Prime Minister They're Prepared To Start Trade War Northern Ireland Protocol Implementation
German chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron will hold one-to-one talks with Boris Johnson at the G7 in Cornwall later
The Times of London reports they'll demand that he honours the terms of the Brexit deal on trade between Britain and the North.
Sky's political correspondent, Tamara Cohen, says the UK government is unlikely to give in:
"Boris Johnson will be hoping to try and smooth those tensions over in those meetings, but it was clear from what the foreign secretary, Dominic Raab, said yesterday that the EU is being too rigid, too purist, that the UK has little intention of backing down on that."
