Exisiting housing shortage Leeside causing a lot of anxiety for prospective students

That's according Housing Charity Threshold who say they will find it very difficult to find accommodation in Cork city
Over 50,000 students got first round CAO offers this morning and will be seeking accommodation ahead of the academic year.
UCC Student Union have advised students to consider digs as an accommodation option due to the lack of housing available and the latest figures show a record number of bedrooms now being rented in family homes.
Speaking to RedFM News, Niall Horgan of Threshold says the rent to room scheme is an affordable option for students.
