Extra €5 million allocated to return social housing in Cork
Cork City and County council can expect an extra €5 million euro to return vacant houses to the market by the end of the year.
€11 million euro has been made available to Cork's local authorities since 2014 to return vacant social houses to use.
Minister Simon Coveney confirmed that €5.5 million euro will be made available to refurbish 220 additional houses this year.
