Extra Social Housing On Course For Cork City

109 social housing units are on course to be developed in the city centre.
The developments were approved by City Council last night and include 43 units on White Street, 32 units on Barrack Street, 25 units on Blarney Street and 9 units on High Street.
In the last three weeks 164 housing units have been approved by the local authority for a number of locations across the city which represents a direct Government investment of €45 million in the housing sector Leeside.
Speaking to RedFM News Director of Housing at Cork City Council Valerie O'Sullivan says the project will also lead to the upgrading of derelict and underutilised inner city sites:
