Fáilte Ireland Invest in 2017 Festivals

Fáilte Ireland has announced over €1.6 million in funding for festivals in 2017.
The money is going to 16 different events across the country - here in Cork €60,000 has been allocated to the Cork Intl Choral Festival and €60,000 to the West Cork Music & Literary Festival.
The body says the chosen festivals have a proven track record of attracting tourists into Ireland.
