Fallout from air traffic controller strike still being felt

Thousands of air-passengers are counting their losses after a two-day strike staged by French Air Traffic Controllers. Over 200 Ryanair flights were cancelled including three at Cork Airport, while Aer Lingus air-passengers experienced lengthy delays. Ryanair is now calling on the EU and the French Government to intervene in the row affecting Air Traffic Controllers, in an effort to avoid further industrial action. Those who lost time on their holidays or who were unable to travel are being advised to check their rights.
