Families Living In B&Bs May Have To Vacate For Tourist Season

A housing charity Leeside has expressed concern that many families living in emergency accommodation could be facing eviction with the onset of the tourist season.
Threshold say families who are forced to live in B&B's and Hotel rooms may have to vacate by the end of April to cater for tourist bookings.
The charity says this issue is causing huge stress on families who are already under pressure, as they are unable to find suitable housing Leeside.
It comes as Minister for Housing Simon Coveney insisted that the Government will be able to meet its target of ending a reliance on hotels as emergency accommodation by July.
Speaking to RedFM News Regional Manager for Threshold Niall Horgan says if they have to leave for the summer season there is nowhere for these families to go:
