Family of Caleb Watters set up fundraiser for woman who saved his life

A Cork mother has started a fundraiser for the woman who jumped into the River Lee to save her son
Adriana Watters is hoping to show her gratitude to ‘hero’ Maria Foley who carried out the incredible rescue near Brian Boru Bridge in Cork City on Friday afternoon.
Three year old Caleb, who cannot swim, slipped and fell into the water and Maria went in after him holding onto him until Emergency Services arrived.
Caleb spent a night in Cork University Hospital but is now back at home.
His Mum, Adriana, has set up an online GoFundMe me page for Maria and she has already raised over €1,300.
Speaking to RedFM News Adriana says money cannot repay what she did for the family but it is a gesture to show the familys' gratitude
