Fianna Fail Back Bench TD Says He'll Resign If Mica Redress Scheme Not Changed To Meet 100% Of Costs
The government is under pressure from homeowners to meet the full costs of remediation works
Thousands of people protested in the capital over the scandal earlier this week.
Sligo Leitrim TD Marc McSharry had this to say when asked if he would resign if the scheme wasn't changed:
"If they're going to let people's houses fall down around them, having looked after people in Dublin and Leinster, that's a big, big problem. So 100%; you've got to look after people, that's it."
