Fianna Fáil leader and Cork's Deputy Lord Mayor go head to head

The row broke out on the Neil Prendeville Show over a promised Senate seat
A row broke out on the air this morning between the Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin and Cork's Deputy Lord Mayor Ken O'Flynn over a promised Senate seat.
Before the last General Election Micheál Martin agreed that he would put the Cork deputy on a list for the Senate and that he would canvass for him on the understanding that his father Noel, would not run in Cork North Central.
However following Averil Power's decision to resign from the party yesterday he publicly stated that he canvassed on her behalf for a Senate seat which caused Ken O'Flynn to raise questions about the kind of support he received from his party leader at the time.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Ken O'Flynn says Michael Martin did not honour his Senate promise
