Flash Floods Hits Cork
Blackpool was hit by a flash flood last night. The heavy rain left some premises under four feet of water. 4 units of Cork city fire brigade tried to ease flood waters and levels receeded at around 11pm. A major cleanup operation will begin this morning. Locals are blaming a blocked drain, which couldn't cope after heavy rain throughout the day.
