Floating wind farm proposed off Cork coast
A floating wind farm is being proposed off the Cork coast.
Simply Blue Energy have submitted a plan to install 67 wind turbines off the coast of Kinsale, close to Kinsale Gas Field which is in the process of being decommissioned.
The Echo report that wind farm would generate enough electricity to power over 800,000 homes.
