Flood hit town in Cork visited by insurance company

It follows a spate of storms Leeside in recent months.
Hopes are high that flood victims in a North Cork town will once again be able to get insurance.
It comes after a recent visit by Zurich Insurance Leeside where the company toured Fermoy's recently installed flood defences.
Traders and homeowners in the town have reported difficulties in getting quotes for flood cover despite the flood barriers being installed.
It's now hoped that Zurich Insurance will take into account the robustness of the barriers, which withstood a massive flood in December, when assessing flood cover.
Speaking to RedFM News Adrian Godwin of the Fermoy Business Action Group says it would come as relief for many if insurance companies took into account the provision of newly installed barriers:
