Flooding UPDATE
As predicted streets near the River Lee in the city are flooding after high tide hit at shortly before quarter past five.
A number of routes have been closed to traffic since 4 o'clock including Union Quay, Wandesford Quay, South Terrace, Kyrls Quay and Lavitts Quay - they'll all remain closed until at least 6.30
Parking restrictions have been imposed along Morrison’s Island, Union Quay, Father Matthew Quay and Frenches Quay until 7 o'clock tomorrow morning
Some bus services have been diverted.
Cork College of Commerce have cancelled their evening classes however evening classes at Cork School of Music are going ahead.
